Backpackers at Harbour Grange is only 10 minutes walk to the sea and beaches. If you don't
fancy a swim you can walk the long sandy beach (45 min walk) to Sandsend, a lovely little
village with cliff walks around the old quarries and forest walks in Mullgrave Woods. You can also walk the cliff path
to Robin Hoods Bay (approx. three hours) with spectacular views all the way.
Whitby is a beautiful
little Sea town with cobbled streets and historic buildings.
Here you can find shops that sell Jet Jewellery and Museums like the Captain Cook Museum
and the Pannet Park Museum which has the second best selection of fossils in the country.
Whitby is an old and interesting town that you are sure to enjoy exploring. |
